As a small business owner, I found this book to as entertaining and laugh out loud funny as it was relevant and I'm not even "in sales". I was immediately able to apply some of the "77 reasons why" to daily customer sales and service situations. The book is filled with entertaining and simple life lessons that continually help remind me how best to deal with different customers. It was fun to laugh along; it helps to keep it in perspective. Thank you Mr. Masters.
As a business executive, I have read many business books and most are very serious to the point I struggle keeping my eye's open. I was given this book by a friend and read it cover to cover with a smirk on my face the whole time. Andy's analogies and real world insights make it very easy to absorb the key takeaways as you think of the sales motion in your company. This humorous read of how to think about the customer should help anyone starting in sales and act as a great reminder to the seasoned pro alike.
It's difficult to strike the right balance between valuable business information and quality entertainment, but Masters has nailed it in "Kiss Your Customer." What I liked about the book was how he combined personal stories, solid advice, and a lighthearted attitude into a recipe for building sales and deepening customer relationships. An added bonus is how a lot of the chapters conclude with a challenging question to help you apply these ideas to your business right away.
I was laughing out loud when I was reading this book - seriously! The stories in this book are so funny. The other cool part, I thought, was that it was tied to a quick lesson and was filled with a lot of great stuff about customer service, sales and marketing. I found myself remembering many things I had forgotten as well as a few new tricks. It was a quick read and I did not want to put it down, and yes my spouse kept saying keep it down as I was laughing out loud... I give this one 5 stars and would recommend it for any business team or co-worker, or heck even just a friend who needs a laugh.
I would like to start by saying this book was by far the most entertaining, humorous book I've read in which I also learned from and changed my ways of interacting with customers and clients. I, being a non reader, could not put this book down. The author has a great way of catching the attention of the reader by sharing personal stories, and then keeping the reader's attention by showing how they relate to other aspects of your life, whether it be professional or personal. I recommend everyone read this book whether you are looking for helpful tips to better your personal and/or professional life. You get the best of both worlds. IT ROCKED!
When I was given this book from a friend I was not interested in another "self help" work related book. I was pleasantly surprised at how this book was put together and the flow. Each chapter left me thinking about how it applied to my day to day sales life as well as reflecting on life in general. The flow kept me very engaged and I found myself anticipating the next chapter.

I would recommend this book to sales and customer service professionals just starting out as well as the seasoned vet.

Kudos to Mr. Masters and I look forward to more of his work.
